6 pounds, 7 ounces and 21 inches long

We are so in love!

After a wild ride of going to the hospital on Tuesday, being sent home 5 hours later, laboring at home, going back to the hospital on Wednesday, laboring all day, getting my epidural, adding pitocin to the mix, throwing up constantly, pushing for 1 hour and the usage of suction on his head... we welcomed our little man into the world 2 days before his due date via c-section. It was anything but glamorous... and worth everything us Mama's go through to bring our angels into this world!

Trace is a true dream come true. He's the tiniest little thing you've ever seen - so long and skinny! He's half the size of Cali and has the longest, most thin limbs. Trace is considered preemie sized for being a full term baby and doesn't fit into any of his newborn clothes yet. He latched on immediately at the hospital, is an expert daytime sleeper (lol!), loves his swing, has the sweetest disposition and horse-voiced little cry.  Night time is rough, as expected. We came home early -- on Friday night -- because I was so over being in the hospital. It's been amazing to finally have him home with us!

Bringing Trace into this world reconfirms everything I had ever thought of Bryan... he's such an incredible husband, friend and support to me. I've never seen a guy experience "extreme bliss" like Bryan has since Trace has arrived. We are both fulfilled on so many levels and can't imagine our world without Trace in it!
