My past several days have been a complete whirlwind.
It's seriously been nuts... in a good way!
I was on 5 flights in 4 days and literally worked everyday in the scorching heat.
I hardly slept, never turned to caffeine and somehow kept my energy level high.
Although there wasn't much time for fun, I thankfully worked with my good friend, Jeremiah, so we laughed our whole way through and even squeezed in 2 dinners at the beach.
I'm definitely not impressed with east coast beaches (sorry), but wouldn't pass up a meal with an ocean view for anything!

I left Bryan for 4 days and this is what I came home to. We had discussed moving this tree and my resounding answer was "no, you'll kill it"... Well, he did what he wanted and uprooted it while I was gone. Now I have a tree in a spot I didn't want it in and a gaping hole that looks like a missile crashed into my backyard. Oh, and it looks like it's dying, but Bry swears it'll come back to life. Uh huh. I think I'm going to kill him! My mom told me to get used to it... he's a man and this will happen the rest of my life.
Kinda strange... since I've lived here for over 2 years, right?
I'm so happy to have woken up in my own bed, gone to work like a normal person... And the cherry on top? I get to sleep in my own bed tonight too!
It's the little things...
You make me tired just reading this! You seriously amaze me with all the traveling you do!

holy busy schedule! and no caffeine? I need caffeine just to function in my normal/boring life. That's pretty darn impressive Kate.
ReplyDeleteWell, you could always put a sandpit in the backyard for beach volleyball... don't need grass for that lol
