I had the pleasure of heading to Enterprise, AL to work and experience BamaJam, a 3-day/3-night country music extravaganza! Acts included Eric Church, Tim McGraw, Cheryl Crow, Kid Rock, Alan Jackson and Zac Brown Band plus many, many more.
Yes, those 2 beers are for me. Was not going to wait in that beer line again! From what I could tell, BamaJam brings out some real lookers. And by lookers, I mean size 18 women squeezed into size 6 jean shorts with their zipper down, their flab and gut overflowing and their c section scar out for all the world to see. I should probably mention that these same women wore bathing suit tops as shirts and their ages ranged from 35-55. You're welcome for the visual!

ReplyDeleteAs crazy as that mental picture is I am dying to see an actual pic....just for giggles
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun! I just went to my first country concert last week...I had NO idea what to expect, and I was definitely surprised at the number of people wearing swimsuits and swimsuits alone: men and women, young and OLD too! And there was no water in sight...I don't understand...still, I love country music!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds real nice, Clark
ReplyDeleteI completely relate to the "fashion" of choice for these country music fests. I was just at one in Michigan and there were several people that I really questioned whether they had looked in the mirror that morning. And all the younger girls were running around in flat out bikinis.
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog and was reading some. I've never heard of Bamajam! It sounds fun....and kind of like a country music version of Bonnaroo!! Good to know...since I'm a huge country fan :)
