lake path house update - final pre-drywall meeting

May 18, 2011

Today we met with our builder for our final pre-drywall meeting and to walk through our house again with him.

We made sure that the outlets and switches (all electrical) were in the correct spots.

We went over every doorway to ensure that all of the hinges were on the side that we wanted and that every door swung in the direction we wanted them to.

Although I love the yellow, we are totally not gutsy enough to paint our home this color. This is primer.

Our front pillars have gone in and I love the shade of brick we chose. It's so fun watching it all come to life!

The next phase is major!
Now that we have passed all inspections multiple times, the next couple of weeks are a big deal.
Before we know it, we'll have the drywall and cabinetry installed.
We're slated to be finished by the middle-end of July, YIKES!

    Look at that great dormer at the top, it adds so much character. So you'll potentially be all moved in THIS month ... WOW! That is seriously so exciting.

    yay! your house looks awesome! can't wait to see the final color of the outside, though even though its primer, i DO love the yellow.

    also tried to comment on your last post, but its not showing? i'll just say, you and your hubs are TOO CUTE! and.... i love old people... hahaha!
