On our drive up PCH, Bry and I stopped at Aliso Creek to take in the gorgeous sunset.
Something we desperately miss about living on the west coast are sunsets over the ocean.
On the east, we get the sunrise.

It was such a clear day that we could see Catalina in the distance and because of the storm, surfers were out in full effect!
The fire pits that I used to have bon fires at in high school
So many dirty seagulls!
We had had bad storms earlier in the week, so tons of bamboo washed up on the beaches.
I hate to be a tourist in my hometown because, well, we all generally can't stand tourists who take over our beach cities in the summertime, but I had to whip out my camera to document some of our evening...
The absolute best sushi restaurant in the country.
