Bryan and I work with two other guys, so there are four of us on the road together. One of them grew up in Wisconsin and his family owns a vacation cabin on a small lake in the state. After leaving Minneapolis, we had a day off to enjoy this peaceful dot on the map.
We arrived at night. Immediately cracked open a beer. Headed down to the lake. Climbed on a pantoon boat. Stared at the amazingly bright stars and chatted the night away. It was much needed relaxation and we enjoyed our downtime at the cabin tremendously.
The next morning we sat by the lake and went to our co-workers parents home for a homemade lasagna lunch before we headed off to Detroit later that afternoon.
